• We will receive an email notification that an issue has been raised. This will also be alerted in Slack

  • Assess the defect for priority. The QuickCase team uses the following approach:

    • Urgent - Must be fixed immediately

    • High - Must be fixed within a few days if possible

    • Medium - Must be fixed when the team has capacity, as soon as possible

    • Low - On the backlog to be fixed, possibly during a hardening sprint

  • Tag the defect with and labels to specify a component (component:idam)

  • Tags will automatically be added for clients (client:cop) based on their emailĀ 

  • Select the type

  • Update the status

  • Assign to someone most capable of investigating

  • Select Update

  • Weekly defect reports will be sent to the College of Policing via a pre-agreed mailing group
