We will receive an email notification that an issue has been raised. This will also be alerted in Slack
Assess the defect for priority. The QuickCase team uses the following approach:
Urgent - Must be fixed immediately
High - Must be fixed within a few days if possible
Medium - Must be fixed when the team has capacity, as soon as possible
Low - On the backlog to be fixed, possibly during a hardening sprint
Tag the defect with and labels to specify a component (component:idam)
Tags will automatically be added for clients (client:cop) based on their email
Select the type
Update the status
Assign to someone most capable of investigating
Weekly defect reports will be sent to the College of Policing via a pre-agreed mailing group
